What to do with Scotty Miller in the 2021 NFC Championship

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Scotty Miller ahead of the Bucs matchup up against the Packers in the NFC Championship.

After a hot start to the season that launched a million Google searches to find out who he was, Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Scotty Miller has dropped off the fantasy football radar. He still contributes, like his one catch for 29 yards last week against the Saints, but there’s not much in the way for fantasy lineups.

Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs WR Scotty Miller, $3,400

Miller’s one catch last week continues a trend. Since Week 8, he’s only had one game with more than one reception, and he hasn’t had more than three targets since then either. There’s not much in the way of scoring potential either; Miller has one touchdown since that point in the season.

It’s tempting to look at Green Bay’s pass defense and think that Miller might get some looks because the Packers figure to have Mike Evans and Chris Godwin on lockdown. But there’s still Antonio Brown, who’s usurped Miller’s place in the rotation. There’s some question about Brown’s status because of injury. He’s had two days off from practice this week, but all indications still point to him playing.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Avoid Miller in fantasy this week. He might have some limited appeal if Brown’s status changes, but other than that, there’s just not much upside here.
