The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Green Bay Packers kick off their Championship round game at 3:05 p.m. ET on Sunday, and 90 minutes before the game the two teams announced their list of inactives. We had word earlier that Antonio Brown would not be active and that has come to fruition. Nose tackle Vita Vea was taken off of I.R., but it wasn’t certain that he would be active, but he is. Safety Antoine Winfield had an in-week downgrade with an ankle injury and was questionable coming into the game. He is officially out.
Bucs inactives
TE Antony Auclair
WR Antonio Brown
DL Khalil Davis
QB Ryan Griffin
DL Jeremiah Ledbetter
RB Ke’Shawn Vaughn
S Antoine Winfield, Jr.
The impact
The loss of Antoine Winfield is big, especially when you consider they’re playing a hot Aaron Rodgers. Antonio Brown’s loss isn’t as impactful, as the Bucs do have some capable backups, but Brown had been getting going of late and the offense could suffer without him.
Packers inactives
QB Jordan Love
CB Ka’dar Hollman
S Vernon Scott
CB Josh Jackson
LB Jonathan Garvin
TE Jace Sternberger
DL Kingsley Keke
The impact
The good news here is that CB Kevin King is active. Overall, the Packers are as healthy as they could be at this point in the season.
