The matchup for Super Bowl 55 is finally set. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs will meet at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay Florida. The Super Bowl will take place on Sunday, February 7 with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. ET. It will air on CBS and be available to livestream on CBS Sports or the CBS Sports App.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Buccaneers are headed to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2002 and will be the first NFL team ever to play the Super Bowl in their home stadium. Tom Brady threw three touchdowns against the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field, but his performance was far from flawless. Brady threw three picks in his team’s 31-26 victory. Tampa Bay stuffed the run as usual en route to the win and shutting down the ground attack was enough to hold off Aaron Rodgers and his receiving corps. If the Buccaneers can make the Chiefs one-dimensional they'll have a shot at winning it all on Super Bowl Sunday.

Of course, making the Chiefs one-dimensional is easier said than done. Kansas City beat the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game, pulling away in the second half. The Bills made some questionable field goal decisions, and they were burned as Patrick Mahomes was on fire connecting with Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Bruce Arians and Tom Brady are likely to make fewer dumb decisions than Sean McDermott and Josh Allen. The Chiefs will face a tough test from a Bucs defense that will have Vea back, which was a critical absence in their Week 12 matchup.
