Syracuse will visit No. 13 Virginia in an ACC men’s basketball matchup on Monday. Virginia is a perfect 6-0 in conference play and is looking to build on the six-game winning streak since losing to No. 1 Gonzaga.
Syracuse has won two straight and toppled No. 16 Virginia Tech in its last outing. Quincy Guerrier leads the 28th offense in the country by adjusted efficiency with 16.9 points per game, and shooter Alan Griffin adds another 15.7. It’s an Orange team that’s a bit less plodding and slow than past versions, but yes they still run 2-3 zone as their base defense.
UVA held on for a 64-62 win on Saturday night against a scrappy Georgia Tech team but a pull-up jumper on the last possession from junior Kihei Clark got the victory. The Hoos start four upperclassmen that were a part of their 2019 national championship team, and still do things how they always have under head coach Tony Bennett: Dead last in pace in the NCAA at just 59.6 possessions per game, but 11th in offensive and 18th in defensive efficiency.
Let’s go over how you can watch the game and what betting options you should consider.

The Best Bet
Virginia only edged out unranked Georgia Tech by two points in its last game but generally takes care of business at home. The Cavs got shocked by San Francisco at home in their second game of the season before falling short to the country's top-ranked team. The home team’s momentum and success against ACC competition should carry it to another win. Virginia has won by double-digits the last three times it’s faced Syracuse.
Pick: Virginia -6.5
