The 12th-ranked Missouri Tigers will look to continue their recent hot streak when they head on the road to take on the Auburn Tigers on Tuesday, January 26. The game is set to tip off at 9 p.m. ET.

Missouri (10-2, 4-2 SEC) won four of its last five games including three in a row to move up in the latest rankings. The Tigers are coming off a 73-64 road win over the Tennessee Volunteers. Guard Xavier Pinson scored a game-high 27 points, and he is the team’s leading scorer, averaging 14.1 points per game. Missouri checks in at No. 32 in the latest KenPom ratings. They are led by defense, which ranks 22nd in adjusted defensive efficiency.

As for Auburn (9-7, 3-5 SEC), they are continuing to make the best of a season in which the Tigers already banned themselves from postseason play. Auburn responded to a four-game losing streak by winning three of their last four. The Tigers scored 109 points in their last game, a victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Freshman guard Sharife Cooper was deemed eligible on January 9, and he’s been a huge difference for this team. The Best Bet

Auburn is a whole different team with Cooper inserted into the lineup. Through five games, he has scored 25 or more points in three of them. Without Cooper, the Tigers failed to win a conference game through three games, and they won three games with him. Unranked Auburn will go up against the No. 12 team in the country as 2.5-point favorites, and it’s still not enough. Let’s ride with Auburn version of the Tigers.

Pick: Auburn -2
