The No. 16-ranked Florida State Seminoles will be looking to extend their winning streak to five games when they take on their in-state rivals, the Miami Hurricanes on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcasted on the ACC Network, which can also access through the ESPN app.
Miami (6-8, 2-7) enters this rivalry game with on a two-game losing streak and losing three out of their last five games. In their last two losses, the Hurricanes have loss by an average of 15 points and did not score more than 60 points. Against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on Sunday, Miami struggled only shooting 38.7 percent from the field and 13.6 percent from three-point range. Sophomore Isaiah Wong, who is the Miami’s leading scorer, recorded 16 points in the 73-59 loss.
Florida State (9-2, 5-1) walks into Wednesday night’s game on a four-game winning streak. They have also won five-straight games over the Hurricanes by an average of 10 points. In regards to the four-game winning streak, the Seminoles are beating teams by an average of 17.7 points. Florida State defeated Clemson 80-61 on Saturday, thanks to an efficient shooting performance. The Seminoles shot 48.3 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from behind the arc.
