The Penn State Nittany Lions will try to extend their winning streak to three games when they go up against the No. 13-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday night. This game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
The Nittany Lions (5-6, 2-5) enters this contest on a two-game winning streak, with their latest win over the Northwestern Wildcats 81-78. Penn State got a tremendous performance from guard Izaiah Brockington. He scored a game-high 21 points on 6-13 shooting from the field and perfect 9-9 from the free throw line. Penn State will need Brockington along with Seth Lundy to pull off the upset as they are 1-2 against ranked opponents. The Lions will be looking to snap their four-game losing streak.
The Buckeyes (12-4, 6-4) have won four of their last five games, including a 12-point victory over the No. 10-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday. Ohio State’s E.J. Liddell led the way with 20 points on an efficient 7-12 shooting from the field, to go along with seven rebounds.
