How and what to watch for Penn State vs. No. 13 Ohio State

The Penn State Nittany Lions will try to extend their winning streak to three games when they go up against the No. 13-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on Wednesday night. This game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.

The Nittany Lions (5-6, 2-5) enters this contest on a two-game winning streak, with their latest win over the Northwestern Wildcats 81-78. Penn State got a tremendous performance from guard Izaiah Brockington. He scored a game-high 21 points on 6-13 shooting from the field and perfect 9-9 from the free throw line. Penn State will need Brockington along with Seth Lundy to pull off the upset as they are 1-2 against ranked opponents. The Lions will be looking to snap their four-game losing streak.

The Buckeyes (12-4, 6-4) have won four of their last five games, including a 12-point victory over the No. 10-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday. Ohio State’s E.J. Liddell led the way with 20 points on an efficient 7-12 shooting from the field, to go along with seven rebounds. As a team, the Buckeyes shot 50.9 percent from the field, while holding the Badgers to only 40.4 percent from the field. This season, Ohio State is averaging 76.6 points per game and holding their opponents to only 67.3 points per game.
