What to do with Matt Ryan in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Matt Ryan ahead of the Falcons Week 17 matchup against the Bucs.

The Atlanta Falcons haven’t had anything left to play for in a while now, but they’re going to be out there on the field this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers anyway. If you’re eyeing this team’s players as an option in fantasy football, however, it’s not completely hopeless. Quarterback Matt Ryan is potentially attractive fantasy football this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Falcons QB Matt Ryan

After some terrible play to start the month of December, Ryan has been playing better, or at least more productive, over the last two weeks. He threw a pair of touchdowns and 300 yards in a surprisingly competitive game against the Chiefs in Week 16. In the game prior to that one, which just so happened to be against these Bucs, he threw three touchdowns 356 yards. He hasn’t thrown a pick in his last two games either.

The Buccaneers have given up three touchdown passer to opposing signal callers in three of their last five games, including Ryan’s Week 15 performance.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Matt Ryan makes a solid starting option this week. I like his $5,900 price tag in DraftKings leagues too.
