Cleveland Browns running backs did the most they could despite some bad luck in last weekend’s game. If you’re still alive in fantasy football and have Nick Chubb and/or Kareem Hunt, here’s an overview of the Cleveland backfield.

Fantasy Football analysis: Browns RBs Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt

Cleveland’s offense wasn’t in a good position for success in last weekend’s loss to the New York Jets. The day before the game, Cleveland placed its top four wide receivers on the COVID-19 list. The Browns struggled in the running game, but both backs were saved by touchdowns. Chubb carried the ball 11 times for 28 yards and a touchdown, while Hunt had four carries for 11 yards with a score.

Hunt also caught three of five targets for 41 yards, and Chubb had 38 receiving yards on five catches.

Cleveland needs to be clicking on all cylinders as the Browns clinch a playoff spot with a victory. Meanwhile, the opponent Pittsburgh Steelers are already in and will be sitting plenty of starters.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Chubb is a mid-tier running back No. 1 for fantasy purposes in Week 17, while Hunt is a low-end third running back.
