What to do with Mitchell Trubisky in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Mitchell Trubisky ahead of the Bears Week 17 matchup against the Packers.

The Chicago Bears took care of business against Jacksonville in Week 16, putting themselves in a position to clinch a playoff spot in Week 17. Unfortunately they’ll be going up against the MVP race leader, Aaron Rodgers, and the Green Bay Packers. Can Mitchell Trubisky keep up with Rodgers and be a viable fantasy option at the same time?

Fantasy Football analysis: Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky

After being benched for Nick Foles in October, Trubisky did not return to the field until the end of November. His first game back was against the Packers, so that could give us something to pull from. The Bears lost 41-25, which still sits as the most points they have allowed in a single game this season. On the flip side, Trubisky threw for three touchdowns and totaled 21.78 DKFP. With everything to play for, we can expect Mitchell to keep his foot on the gas pedal even if Chicago finds itself down big early on. And on a week where there’s so much uncertainty surrounding teams with or without motivation, this game is a sure bet for both sides.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Start Trubisky as a low-end QB1.
