Whatever direction the Carolina Panthers decide to go with Teddy Bridgewater after this season, he’s got one more game starting under center. And it’s a doozy of a game, facing off against a tough Saints defense that still has something to play for despite it being the last week of the regular season. As far as fantasy football goes, you may want to avoid Bridgewater in all formats this week.

Fantasy Football analysis: Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater

Bridgewater threw for 197 yards, one touchdown, and one interception against Washington last week. He helped his team pull off the win, but those numbers don’t do much for fantasy scoring. In the two games prior to that, he had one rushing score in each and no passing touchdowns.

The Saints have given up three passing touchdowns to opposing signal-callers in each of their last two games, but those were Patrick Mahomes and Kirk Cousins with a rejuvenated Vikings offense. Bridgewater had two passing touchdowns and 254 yards against the Saints back in Week 7.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

There are better options than Teddy Bridgewater in all fantasy formats this week.
