This Sunday might be Rob Gronkowski’s final NFL regular-season game (again). How will he perform against the Atlanta Falcons?
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs TE Rob Gronkowski
Gronkowski caught three of seven targets for just 29 scoreless yards against Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. He exploded for 18.8 fantasy points last week, tying a season-high, but that’s what happens when you face a demoralized Lions defense. On the contrary, the 4-11 Falcons were fired up last week in Kansas City and made the going relatively rough for the Chiefs. TE Travis Kelce still had a fine afternoon (7-98-1), but he is in a TE tier all his own this year. Otherwise, Atlanta has been fairly stingy to tight ends of late. From Weeks 8-15, no tight ends finished with at least 55 receiving yards against them. Atlanta gave up just one touchdown to the position during that span, too.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Gronk is always viable for a score and that keeps him in the TE1 range for traditional leagues. After a $900 price hike, he costs $4,500 on DraftKings.
