The days of a full on running back committee in Indianapolis are over. Jonathan Taylor continues to have a lock as the Colts’ primary weapon out of the backfield, with a great chance to rack up another week of RB1 stats against the Jaguars on Sunday. Nyheim Hines is still in the conversation, but he’s got limited appeal in fantasy.

Fantasy Football analysis: Colts RBs Jonathan Taylor, Nyheim Hines

Taylor had 74 yards on 14 carries last week against the Steelers, including two rushing scores. That gave him five touchdowns in his last three games. He might have accumulated more stats, but the Colts blew a big lead in the second half. Hines finished that one with 44 rushing yards on eight carries and 20 receiving yards on four catches. He’s still getting enough work on third downs to make him a decent flex play in fantasy.

The Jaguars are giving up 4.5 yards per carry to opposing running backs, and they’ve allowed them to score five rushing touchdowns in their last three games.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Jonathan Taylor is a great pick for an RB1 this week, and good value at $7,400 in DraftKings leagues. Hines is a solid flex player.
