What to do with Mike Gesicki in Week 17 of the fantasy football playoffs

We go over the fantasy football outlook of Mike Gesicki ahead of the Dolphins Week 17 matchup against the Bills.

As one of the few healthy and/or dependable pass-catchers on the Miami Dolphins, tight end Mike Gesicki might see a lot of looks Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Football analysis: Dolphins TE Mike Gesicki

Gesicki returned after missing one game due to a shoulder injury and posted a 4-54-0 line on seven targets in Week 16 versus the Raiders. Not outstanding, sure, but those seven targets were a team-high, and he played his usual allotment of snaps. He stands to see even more work this week as wide receivers Jakeem Grant and DeVante Parker are both iffy due to injuries. Without them (and Preston Williams, who is already on IR), Gesicki should be Tua Tagovailoa’s first option on many plays. And Buffalo has been susceptible to tight ends this season. having allowed the sixth-most DraftKings points to the position.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

Gesicki is a mid-range TE1 in traditional leagues for Week 17. He should be a popular DFS option at just $4,200, making him cheaper than 10 other TEs. That is emphasized if Parker is ultimately inactive.
