How to handle DeVante Parker, Jakeem Grant injury in Week 17 fantasy football

DeVante Parker and Jakeem Grant are on the Chiefs final injury report for Week 17. We break down what it means for fantasy football roster decisions.

Game status: DeVante Parker is ACTIVE, Jakeem Grant is INACTIVE.

The Miami Dolphins listed both of their top two wide receivers as questionable on this week’s injury report ahead of a must-win game against the Buffalo Bills. DeVante Parker is still dealing with the hamstring injury that forced him to sit out last week’s game. Grant has an ankle injury that he suffered in last week’s contest against the Raiders.

Fantasy impact: DeVante Parker (hamstring), Jakeem Grant (ankle)

Officially, both have been limited in practice this week. We might not know for sure whether or not they’ll suit up until closer to the 1 PM ET kickoff. If you’re interested in reading the tea leaves, reports out of Miami said that Parker was moving well in practice late in the week while Grant was still struggling.

With their playoff hopes on the line, the Dolphins can’t afford to rest anyone who can play. If Parker does suit up, he’s a decent WR2 against a Bills team that’s not expected to have their starters playing all four quarters. If both Parker and Grant play, you can skip Grant. If both players sit out, tight end Mike Gesicki’s fantasy value would be through the roof.
