Kyler Murray exits game with leg injury in Week 17, returns in 4th quarter

Cardinals QB Kyler Murray injured himself on the opening drive of the team’s must-win Week 17 game. Chris Streveler came on in his place.

4th quarter update: Murray has returned to the lineup early in the fourth quarter.

3rd quarter update: Streveler remains the Cardinals QB midway through the third quarter and would seem to be the guy the rest of the way.

UPDATE: Murray returned to the sideline and was on the exercise bike staying loose, per Darren Urban. Streveler remains the starting quarterback for the time being.

UPDATE: Murray returned from the locker room and went to the blue medical tent. He then ended up going back to the locker room and remains out, per Darren Urban. He was seen limping.

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray limped off of the football field with an injury on the team’s opening drive in the first quarter. The second-year quarterback is headed into the locker room with the trainers, per Kyle Odegard of AZCardinals.com.

Backup quarterback Chris Streveler is in now under center for Arizona. Heading into Week 17, Murray was listed as questionable with a leg injury, but gave the okay that he was ready to play in a must win game.
