Pick against the spread, best player prop for Grizzlies vs. Spurs on Saturday

The Memphis Grizzlies are riding a five-game winning streak and could extend it to six games on Saturday in a matchup on the road against the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday. The home team is riding a three-game winning streak of its own. If the Grizzlies were healthy I’d take them, but the absence of Jonas Valanciunas will weigh heavily on the visitors. San Antonio gets into trouble because of its unique, undersized backcourt, but the opposition not having a dominant, physical big play into its hands. Ja Morant is matched up against an elite defensive guard in Dejounte Murray, and Derrick White is set to return and improve the Spurs’ backcourt rotation on offense and defense. Memphis hasn’t played in over 10 days, and the rust should show.

Player Prop: Lonnie Walker 1.5 3-pointers made (+105)

Walker has made at least one three in 17 of the 19 games he’s played in and has hit more than one in 10 games. He’s shooting over 38 percent from range, so hitting a pair shouldn’t be a difficult task. He’s attempting nearly five threes per game, so the math is in his favor.
