I’m surprised the Lakers aren’t favored by a lot more here given that the Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant for an extended period of time. Memphis is at a significant disadvantage because of lopsided mismatches at multiple positions. Dennis Schroder, LeBron James, and Anthony Davis should dominant their matchups and put this game out of reach early. I doubt that Dillon Brooks and Jonas Valanciunas will be enough to help the underdogs stay competitive after losing to the reigning champs by 12 earlier this month.

Player Prop: Anthony Davis to record a double-double (+100)

Davis’s rebounding numbers are down this year but he was just one board away from getting his third double-double of the year the last time he faced the Grizzlies. He should play inspired ball after scoring just 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting his last time out and has a major advantage matching up against Kyle Anderson and Brandon Clarke at the power forward position. Davis recorded a double-double in 46 percent of his regular-season games last year so +100 odds should give you a great opportunity to cash out.
