Denver is a big-time favorite here for a reason. Minnesota has lost four games by an average of 26.5 points since Karl-Anthony Towns went down with a wrist injury and lost to the Nuggets by 25 on Sunday. Nikola Jokic is playing like the best big man in the league and is averaging a triple-double. The Joker simply can’t be contained by Ed Davis and Naz Reid. Then there’s Jamal Murray, who’s finally heating up after starting the year ice cold from the field. Those two stars should hand Minnesota a fifth straight blowout loss.

Player Prop: Jamal Murray O22.5 points (-125)

Murray has found his bubble mojo and has scored more than 30 points in each of his last two games. The Timberwolves’ backcourt is a mess defensively and forked up 36 points to Murray in 36 minutes earlier this week. He’s shooting nearly 60 percent from the field on 21 shots per contest in the new year. That might not be sustainable but his current shot volume gives him a great shot at hitting the over here.
