UPDATE: Fultz will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee in the first quarter of Wednesday night’s game vs. the Cavaliers.

Orlando Magic PG Markelle Fultz had to be helped to the locker room after suffering what appeared to be a bad knee injury in the first quarter of Wednesday’s game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers. Fultz was not able to put any pressure on his leg while being assisted to the locker room by two Magic personnel. We don’t want to speculate but it did not look good. Fultz was visibly in pain on the court before leaving.

Update: Fultz has been ruled out for the rest of Wednesday night’s game due to a knee injury.

Here’s a video of Fultz being helped to the locker room via Bleacher Report:

Fultz only played four minutes with 3 points and a steal before sustaining the injury. He was replaced in the lineup by rookie PG Cole Anthony, who will likely need to run the point quite a bit if Fultz remains out the rest of the game. If this is a long-term injury for Fultz, Anthony is the player who will need to step up the most. The Magic are also without SG Evan Fournier, who is out with a back injury. The Cavs are also pretty shorthanded but are out to an early lead in the game.
