The Cleveland Browns may be without tackle Jack Conklin and guard Wyatt Teller for Sunday’s Wild Card playoff game versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both men are listed as questionable.
Conklin didn’t practice Friday due to an illness. He had been on the team’s injury report due to a knee ailment but was a limited participant on Wednesday and Thursday. Teller has been officially limited this week by an ankle injury.
Conklin was named a first team All-Pro on Friday while Teller was named to the second team. Browns guard Joel Bitonio, who was also tabbed as a second team All-Pro on Friday, has already been ruled out for this game after he tested positive for COVID-19 earlier in the week. Further losses along Cleveland’s front line would make the challenge ahead even more difficult for running backs Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. It could also cause more leaks against a Steelers defense that has recorded a league-high 56 sacks.
