The Buffalo Bills star quarterback Josh Allen was too much for the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card Round, leading his team to a 27-24 win. The Colts did themselves no favors, as they failed in the red zone time and time again, but Allen was on target all day and wouldn’t give up the lead.

Philip Rivers played well, but the Colts inability to score touchdowns despite getting into Bills territory on almost every drive was their downfall. Rivers and company had a chance with two minutes remaining, down three-points, and the Bills defense came up big to hold them once again.

Rivers ended the day throwing for 278 yards and two touchdowns, but Allen was the better player on this day, as he completed 26-of-35 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing 11 times for 54 yards and another touchdown.

Allen’s No. 1 target was once again All-Pro receiver Stefon Diggs, who caught 6-of-9 targets for 128 yards and a touchdown. The acquisition of Diggs this off-season and the continued improvement by Allen have pushed this team into Super Bowl contenders.
