John Wolford returns with Rams to LA following Wild Card win, is banged up but ‘should be OK’

John Wolford was taken to the hospital with a neck injury, but appears to have been cleared of any substantial injury

Sunday update: John Wolford returned to LA with the Rams following the team’s Wild Card win over the Seahawks, per Adam Schefter. Wolford and Goff, “are banged up, but in words of one source both ‘should be OK.’”

UPDATE: Sean McVay says that Wolford has returned from the hospital and was able to celebrate with the team, per Jourdan Rodrigue.

UPDATE: Wolford’s neck injury is concerning enough to take him to the hospital, per Lindsey Thiry.

Los Angeles Rams quarterback John Wolford took a shoulder to his head and has gone into the locker room for evaluation. He is likely going to be looked at for a concussion and neck injury. Jared Goff, the backup for this game, has come in.

Goff didn’t start this week due to a thumb injury, but did enough in practice to be the back up and now is getting his chance.
