UPDATE: Gibson returned on the next Washington drive and appears to be fine.
The Washington Football Team faces a tough uphill battle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and it could be getting a little more difficult. Washington trainers have been looking at running back Antonio Gibson’s lower leg on the sideline. The trainers are either looking at his foot or his knee.
Gibson was dealing with a turf toe injury late in the season, and it is unclear if this injury is related to that or something new.
