Taylor Heinicke returns to Wild Card game vs. Tampa Bay

UPDATE: Heinicke has been cleared and returns to the game to take on the Buccaneers down 28-16 with nine minutes remaining.

UPDATE: Heinicke is officially questionable to return with a shoulder injury.

Washington Football Team’s quarterback Taylor Heinicke has been playing well all game, but appears to have an injury to his left arm/collarbone area. Heinicke is heading to the locker room and backup quarterback Steven Montez is warming up. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have the ball at the moment, so we’ll see if Heinicke can get back or if Montez will get the call.
