Monday update: Burrow appears to have avoided a major injury in Week 5 and should be good to go for Week 6 against the Lions.
#Bengals star QB Joe Burrow, who visited a local hospital last night after a potential throat contusion, checked out fine and should be OK, source said. He was released from the hospital last night.

Post-game update: Joe Burrow has been taken to the hospital for a throat contusion. It doesn’t sound like an emergency situation at this point thankfully.

Burrow had an up and down game, as he completed 25-of-38 passes for 281 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. The name of the game overall was missed field goals, as both the Packers and Bengals couldn’t out the game away with their kickers.
Burrow took a hard hit and was able to return, but that might have been when he suffered the throat injury. We will keep you updated on his status as news comes in.
UPDATE: Joe Burrow has been cleared to return to the game per the broadcast. It appears the hit looked worse than it was. Good news.
