TNT will provide coverage for the NBA’s opening night matchup between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers. The game will be played at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, at 10:00 p.m. ET.

The Warriors and Lakers faced each other twice during the preseason, but neither squad showed much of their hand or treated the game as they would a regular-season game. The Lakers have a few injuries to rotation players but are deep enough to not suffer much of a blow. Meanwhile, the Warriors are still without Klay Thompson, who should be back around Christmas time. With the showdown on Tuesday being real, the game should be fun and competitive.

The Lakers are 3.5-point favorites at home in the opener on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Lakers are also -155 favorites on the moneyline while the Dubs are +135. The over/under is at a reasonable 228, which is still relatively high. We know the Dubs are going to run and play up in pace, but the Lakers could also return to being one of the top defensive teams in the NBA.
