The Milwaukee Bucks are coming off a tough loss to the Charlotte Hornets but will get a chance to bounce back on Monday at Fiserv Forum against the Portland Trail Blazers. The Bucks are big-time favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, and we’ve identified a few bets worth placing on the matchup.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Milwaukee Bucks, 8 p.m. ET, League Pass
Pick ATS: Bucks -9
Milwaukee’s shocking loss to the Charlotte Hornets hasn't shaken my faith, and Portland is dealing with a slew of injuries at key positions. Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum are still weeks away from returning, and Derrick Jones Jr. has been ruled out of Monday’s game because of a foot injury he suffered last week. I can’t see the Trail Blazers, who beat the Chicago Bulls on a last-second shot in their last game, staying close to the Bucks at full strength on the road. Portland struggles to protect the paint with Enes Kanter at center and will have to stop one of the NBA’s most efficient post scorers in Antetokounmpo.
Player Prop: Giannis Antetokounmpo O48.5 points, assists, and rebounds (-110)
Antetokounmpo was one assist shy of a triple-double in his last game and Portland doesn’t have a legitimate power forward to deploy against him on defense. Robert Covington is plenty effective on defense, but Antetokounmpo tallied 36 points, 18 rebounds, and 8 assists the last time Covington was his primary defender. The reigning MVP should put together another impressive performance with this matchup.
