The Daytona 500 begins on Sunday, but the process for setting the lineup started on Wednesday night. All 44 drivers ran a time trial to settle the front row of the race. Alex Bowman claimed the pole with the fastest time and William Byron will join him on the front row.
The order of the next 36 spots in the 40-car field will be determined on Thursday at the Bluegreen Vacations Duels. The order in which the cars finish the pole qualifying event will determine what cars will race in which Duel ahead of Daytona 500. The odd-numbered finishers (3rd place, 5th, 7th, etc) will go in Duel 1, and the even-numbered qualifiers will go in Duel 2.
How to watch the Duel races for the Daytona 500
You can watch the Bluegreen Vacations Duels on Thursday, February 11th on FS1. Duel 1 will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Duel 2 following soon after at approximately 8:40 p.m. You can watch on FS1 or you can stream the race via the Fox Sports Go app with a cable or streaming service login. If you don’t have a cable login to access the Fox Sports Go app, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream it.
