The No. 11-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes will try to extend their two-game winning streak when they play the No. 21-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Thursday 7 p.m. ET. on ESPN3.

The Hawkeyes (15-6, 9-5 Big Ten) are coming off of an impressive 88-58 victory over the Michigan State Spartans last week. Joe Wieskamp scored a game-high 21 points (7-13 FG, 5-7 3-pt) and grabbed seven rebounds. Wieskamp was one of only three Iowa players to score at least 10 points. But surprisingly, neither Luka Garza or Jordan Bohannon was one of those players as they scored eight and six points respectively. Bohannon will look to have a better performance against the team he dissed pretty hard in a press conference earlier this week.

The Badgers (15-7, 9-6 Big Ten) are coming off a disappointing 67-59 loss to the Michigan Wolverines last weekend. In that game Wisconsin allowed No. 3 Michigan to comeback from a second-half 14-point deficit. Dmitrik Trice was the Badgers’ leading scorer with 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists. As a team, Wisconsin shot 38.9 percent from the field and 31.6 percent from three-point range.

The Best Bet

As things currently stand, this game is trending towards a pick’em between the Hawkeyes and Badgers. This is the first time that these two squads are playing each other. They will play again at the end of the season on March 7. The Hawkeyes will again be without guard CJ Fredrick, who has been dealing with a nagging leg injury. That being said, Iowa still has a solid trio of players in Wieskamp, Garza, and Bohannon to take down the Badgers.

Pick: Under 145.5
