Baylor (16-0, 8-0 Big 12) might just be the best college basketball team in the country this year, and they’ve been impressive in keeping that zero in the loss column all year. Consistency is what makes for a deep NCAA Tournament run, and Baylor has that. The Bears rank inside the top three in both adjusted offensive and defensive efficiency. They have won each of their last three games by double digits, and they never seem to have an off game.
Texas (11-3, 5-2 Big 12) has put together a really impressive season, but the Longhorns find themselves in a tough spot. Texas saw three of their last four games canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 issues. It remains to be seen who will be available for the Longhorns, as Brock Cunningham, Courtney Ramey and Jerico Sims did not play the previous game, an 80-79 home loss to the Oklahoma Sooners. In addition, head coach Shaka Smart tested positive for the coronavirus.

Laying five on the road against the No. 5 team in America shows how good Baylor is. And they deserve it, as no one has come within eight of beating them this season. That holds tonight as well.
