A year ago, the Kansas City Chiefs won Super Bowl 54 and dumped orange Gatorade on head coach Andy Reid. The Gatorade tradition is a long-standing one in sports, and the Super Bowl now provides a chance to wager on the color.
DraftKings online sportsbook is offering a prop bet on what color Gatorade will be dumped on the winning coach when the Chiefs face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Odds are live in New Jersey, West Virginia, Indiana, and Illinois. Orange is favored at +100 following the Chiefs’ use of it last year. Here’s the full list of Gatorade odds:
Orange: +100
Red: +175
Clear/Water: +175
Yellow/Green/Lime: +200
Blue: +650
Purple: +650
Orange is the most popular color in the recent past. Over the past decade, it has been the color of choice five times, including back-to-back years in 2010 and 2011. Blue is next at two in 2019 and 2015.
