The Beef. It’s What’s for Dinner. 300 kicked off the 2021 Xfinity Series over the weekend at Daytona International Speedway, and the second race of the season will take place at the same venue. The Super Start Batteries 188 is set to run on Saturday with Brett Moffitt and Austin Cindric in the front row.
Cindric claimed last year’s season-long championship in the Xfinity Series, and he is off to a strong start to the 2021 season. He won the first race of the year to begin his title defense, leading 28 of the laps. Last season, he led all drivers in wins (6) and top-five finishes (19).
The 22-year-old appears poised to have another impressive campaign, as he won last year’s Super Start Batteries 188. The event was created as a temporary event due to COVID-19 cancellations and postponements, but is back for another year.
