The Gonzaga Bulldogs will look to keep rolling through the West Coast Conference as they are set to host the San Diego Toreros on Saturday, February 20th.

Gonzaga (21-0, 12-0 West Coast) continues to dominate in each game it plays. The Bulldogs have won 20 of 21 games by a double-digit margin, and the only time they didn’t came on December 2nd when they beat the West Virginia Mountaineers by five points. In their last time out, Gonzaga took down the Saint Mary’s Gaels on Thursday night 87-65 at home. Corey Kispert put up 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting to lead Gonzaga. The Bulldogs are No. 1 in KenPom, sixth in adjusted defensive efficiency and second in offensive efficiency.

San Diego (3-7, 2-4 West Coast) returned to the court on Thursday night for the Toreros’ first game since January 28th, and they beat the Santa Clara Broncos 71-60 on the road, led by Joey Calcaterra’s 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting. It’s a small sample size with just 10 games played, but San Diego ranks 188th in the latest KenPom ratings and No. 252 in adjusted offensive efficiency.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Point spread: Gonzaga 32.5-
Point Total: 154
Money line: N/A

  • San Diego is 3-13 straight up in their last 16 games but 5-1 against the spread in their last six.
  • San Diego is 5-1 against the spread in their last five road games and 5-2 against the spread in their last seven against Gonzaga.
  • The total went under in eight of Gonzaga’s last 12 games.

The Best Bet

The Toreros only lost by 28 at home to the Zags earlier this season, and Gonzaga tends to play with their food in lower-tier WCC games before they eat it (except against Saint Mary’s, because they hate Saint Mary’s). Make sure you get the hook, but USD covers the 32.5!

Pick: San Diego +32.5
