The No. 9 Oklahoma Sooners head to the little apple on Tuesday night to take on Kansas State in the Little Apple of Manhattan, Kansas.

Kansas State (6-18, 2-13 Big 12) has had a season to forget. They just snapped a 13-game losing streak their last time out against TCU, but are scoring just 62 points per game and are giving up well over 70. The last time the Wildcats played OU, the Sooners won by 26 points and held KSU to just 50. KenPom has their offense ranked in the 200’s and their defense is in the high 100’s as well. Nijel Pack is the team’s top scorer averaging 12 points per contest.

Oklahoma (14-5, 9-4 Big 12) should win this one handily. The Sooners are scoring 76 points per game and have won eight out of their last 10 games. They’re giving up just 67 points per game to opponents and KenPom has them ranked as the 29th best offense and defense in the nation. Austin Reaves leads the team in points, rebounds and assists, but they have four players total in double figures, so there are multiple players the Wildcats will need to stop.

KenPom gives OU an 87% chance to go on the road and come away with a win.

The Best Bet

Kansas State is a bottom dweller in the Big 12 while Oklahoma is among the elite. The Sooners haven’t won by double-digits too often lately, but thrashed the Wildcats by 26 in January. The favorites should cover the spread against a Kansas State team that’s lost by double-digits in seven of its 16 home games.

Pick: Oklahoma -10
