The top two teams in the SEC are set to face off on Wednesday. No. 6 Alabama will hit the road to take on No. 20 Arkansas for the second time this year. The Crimson Tide and Razorbacks have combined for seven straight wins, but only one team can maintain its momentum by securing a victory to kick off the week. Will Alabama recreate its 31-point victory over Arkansas from January.
Alabama (18-5, 13-1 SEC) has only fallen to No. 24 Missouri in conference play. It’s lost two of its last three road games and both those defeats came against ranked teams. Jaden Shackelford’s season-high 27 points powered the Crimson Tide past Vanderbilt in their last game, but getting significant contributions from Herb Jones and John Petty Jr., will strengthen Alabama’s odds.
Arkansas (17-5, 9-4 SEC) has only lost to Oklahoma State since getting embarrassed by Alabama. While the last meeting between these two teams was lopsided, Moses Moody erupted for a season-high 28 points. Whether the freshman guard can recapture his shooting stroke could determine the result of round two. Can he outplay Shackleford again and get the win?

The Best Bet
Alabama and Arkansas are close to even on the moneyline but it's hard to pick against a road team that won in such a convincing fashion earlier this year. The career game from Moody wasn’t enough to prevent a Crimson Tide onslaught the first time, so I expect more of the same from the team that’s dominated the SEC.
Pick: Alabama +2
