The No. 19-ranked USC Trojans will look to get back into the win column when they play the Utah Utes Saturday at 8 p.m. ET. When these two teams first played back in January, USC won 64-46 over the Utes.

The Trojans (19-5, 13-4 Pac-12) are coming off of a 80-62 loss to the Colorado Buffaloes on Thursday night. It was only their second loss in the last five games and first road loss since Jan. 19 to the Oregon State Beavers. USC needs win as they are only a half-game behind the UCLA Bruins. The Trojans are scheduled to face the Bruins on March 6th to end the season.

The Utes (9-11, 6-10 Pac-12) are entering Saturday’s game on a four-game losing streak after losing to UCLA 76-61 on Thursday. Utah has lost their last four games by an average of 10.7 points.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends

Point spread: USC -5.5
Point Total: 137.5
Money line: USC -245, Utah +195

  • The Trojans have been one of the better teams in the Pac-12 to bet on recently with a record of 7-2 against the spread in their last nine games. The point total has gone over in four of USC’s last five contests.
  • On the other end of the spectrum, Utah has not been great with a record of 2-4 ATS in their last six games. The point total has gone over in six of Utah’s last seven games when they are home against USC.

The Best Bet

After suffering a tough loss to the Colorado Buffaloes, USC will be looking to bounce back in a big way on Saturday night. The Trojans are playing for plenty as they try to keep pace with UCLA and improve their seeding for the NCAA Tournament. The last time these teams played the ‘SC blew out the Utes in Los Angeles. We should likely expect another a double-digit win with Larry Krystkowiak’s side riding a four-game losing skid.

Pick: USC -5.5
