The ACC matchup between the Louisville Cardinals and Syracuse Orange, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday, has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the Louisville program, according to reports.

This marks the 5th time the Cardinals have had a game postponed or canceled because of COVID-19 issues, though their most recent cancelation against Boston College was due to issues within the Eagles’ program. Louisville did deal with COVID issues back in December, causing one game to get pushed back and the other one, against UNC Greensboro, to be called off completely. They’ve lost three out of their last five games overall. The Cards are scheduled to be back in action on Saturday against the No. 14 Virginia Cavaliers, but it’s unclear if that game will still go on as scheduled.
The Orange have had two other games postponed earlier this season, back in late December for COVID issues within their program. The Orange have won three out of their last four. They will be back in action on Saturday afternoon against the Clemson Tigers.
