Boston Celtics SG Jaylen Brown has been ruled out for Friday’s game vs. the Los Angeles Clippers due to a knee injury. Rookie PG Payton Pritchard is available to play vs. the Clips. He was also dealing with a knee injury. The Celtics have lost three of their past four games, including a loss to the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night. Boston continues a West Coast swing with a matchup vs. the Clippers and then the Phoenix Suns early on Super Bowl Sunday.

Kemba Walker should return to the lineup Friday after sitting out Wednesday to get some rest. With Walker back in the starting lineup, we should see a different back court. Marcus Smart remains sidelined, so Walker could start alongside Jeff Teague or Javonte Green. Tremont Waters could also enter the starting lineup in place of Brown. We’ll have to wait and see closer to tip-off later on.
