Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Tyler Johnson was not completely off the radar in his team’s win over the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship game. He was targeted twice in that game, the most looks he’s had since the first half of the season, and came away with one catch for 16 yards. He’s far more important to the Buccaneers’ depth chart than he is in fantasy football.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bucs WR Tyler Johnson, $1,800
Johnson had one catch on one target in the Divisional round against New Orleans. He finished the season with just 12 catches on 17 targets, for 169 yards and two touchdowns, but he hasn’t found the end zone since Week 7.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
With Antonio Brown expected back for the Super Bowl, Johnson slides down to the fifth spot on the depth chart, behind Scotty Miller. Given that he does not get a lot of work in the team’s offense, there’s no fantasy value to be had from Johnson.
