What to do with Tyreek Hill in Super Bowl 55 for DFS and playoff fantasy leagues

We go over the fantasy football and DFS outlook of Tyreek Hill ahead of the Chiefs Super Bowl matchup against the Bucs.

Better Play: Travis Kelce or Tyreek Hill?

When picking a DraftKings Showdown lineup for the Super Bowl slate, you will have to likely make a decision to take two of the top three options: Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill. Fitting in all three would be extremely challenging, but picking any combination of the two would be a smart choice. Here is the case for taking TyFreak.

Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill, $10,400

The speedy receiver is coming off of a nine-catch, 172-yard performance in the AFC Conference Championship. Hill has seen double-digit targets in both postseason games this season, further solidifying his spot as a Patrick Mahomes favorite. The only thing he hasn’t done in the playoffs is reach the end zone, which means he’s due, right?

Surprisingly enough, Tyreek only recorded three 100+ receiving yard games in the regular season, though they came in three consecutive weeks. He has now reached 100 receiving yards in both playoff games this season, and if you believe in the power of three, that third game is on deck. Even if he doesn’t surpass the 100-yard mark, Hill squares off against a defense that allowed Davante Adams to reel in nine catches for 67 yards and touchdown in the NFC Conference Championship.

Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation

As the cheapest option of the three-headed Chiefs monster, Tyreek Hill will likely be the higher-owned player. Still, starting him hasn’t been a bad idea all season long, and it won’t be now.
