In DraftKings Showdown contests, sometimes striking gold on a dart throw is the key to success. The risk being that you could easily end up with a zero from a guy priced under $2,000. Enter, Byron Pringle.
Fantasy Football analysis: Chiefs WR Byron Pringle, $1,800
Aside from Demarcus Robinson ($1,400), Byron Pringle is the cheapest receiving option on the list of Chiefs players who will actually see the field. Without Sammy Watkins, Pringle has been sprinkled in much more in the receiving rotation. The WR has logged more DKFP in his last three outings than he had in every other game this season combined. Unfortunately for Pringle, Watkins is expected to return to the field for the Super Bowl, which will only result in fewer opportunities for Byron. Still, for an extremely cheap option like him, all you’re really hoping for is a few catches for 20-40 yards. Anything else is a major bonus.
Fantasy Start/Sit Recommendation
Byron Pringle is the safest option under $2K, so if you desperately need a salary saver, he’s your guy.
