Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has been dealing with an elbow injury in the lead up to his team’s Super Bowl 55 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. But it looks as though you can stop worrying, Godwin is not listed at all on the last official injury report before Sunday’s game, and he was a full participant in practice all week in the lead up to it.
Fantasy/betting impact: Chris Godwin (elbow)
Godwin has been quarterback Tom Brady’s go-to receiver down the stretch this season. He had five catches on nine targets in the NFC Championship game against Green Bay, racking up a healthy 110 yards in the process. He has one touchdown—scored against Washington in the Wild Card game—through three playoff games.
The last time Godwin played against the Chiefs, in Week 12, he caught eight passes on nine targets for 97 yards. Even with Kansas City’s defense keyed in on him, he’s likely to lead the team in targets and has the potential for a huge game.
