The Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off this Sunday in Super Bowl 55. The game kicks off at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Chiefs are looking for a second consecutive Super Bowl victory while the Bucs are looking for the second title in franchise history.
The National Anthem was sung by singers Jazmine Sullivan and Eric Church and lasted for 2:16. Ahead of the game, odds were available on DraftKings Sportsbook included whether any scoring drive would take less time than the singing of the National Anthem. The odds for yes were at -335, while No sat at +250.
You cannot legally bet on just the Anthem length, but there was still plenty of chatter when a recording of the National Anthem rehearsal was clocked at 2:16 and leaked by an Ohio reporter. However, thanks to this particular prop bet, it didn’t spoil all of the betting fun.
