The first half of Super Bowl 55 is complete, and The Weeknd has kicked off a historic Super Bowl Halftime Show. The Kansas City Chiefs got off to a slow and surprising start in this game, entering the half down 21-6, having yet to score a touchdown. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the half, as Tom Brady managed 140 passing yards and three passing touchdowns. TE Rob Gronkowski caught two of them, with WR Antonio Brown catching the third.
The 2021 Pepsi Halftime Show features three-time Grammy award winner The Weeknd. He opened up the halftime show in a suave car with a makeshift set of the Vegas Strip right there in Raymond James Stadium. A choir sang a short intro before transitioning to his 2016 hit, Starboy, featuring Daft Punk.
After his intro, he transitioned to his 2015 single, The Hills, before making his way through a funhouse full of mirrors. There, he was met with a number of suited men with bandaged faces for his feature song Can’t Feel My Face.
We’ll be tracking prop bet outcomes for Super Bowl LV all game long, so be sure to check back as the game closes out to see how you’ve performed.
