The Los Angeles Lakers will come into Monday night’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder with a four-game winning streak and the second best record in the NBA. The Lakers are 18-6 behind only the Utah Jazz at 19-5. Oklahoma City enters with a 10-12 record, which is tied for 12th place in the Western Conference. The Thunder won two of their last three games going into Monday night.
Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers, 10:00 p.m. ET
Pick ATS: Thunder +10
For all the success the Lakers have had this season, they have struggled to cover spreads recently. Los Angeles is 2-5 against the spread in the last seven, while Oklahoma City is 4-2 in the last six against the number. Check the injury reports leading up to game time because Anthony Davis is questionable with an Achilles injury and may not be able to go. Regardless, Oklahoma City getting 10 points is the way to go as the Thunder should be fired up after being handled by the Lakers 128-99 on January 13th.
Player Prop: Kenrich Williams O8.5 points (+103)
Williams is part of the Thunder’s rotation for now and has played at least 30 minutes in back-to-back games and has a good chance to stay around there because of Oklahoma City’s lack of frontcourt options. He’s scored at least nine points in three straight games. Reserves should get a significant boost if this game ends up being another blowout win for the Lakers.
