The Gonzaga Bulldogs are now one of just two undefeated teams in college basketball, and they return to the court as double-digit favorites when they match up with the BYU Cougars on Monday evening.

Gonzaga (18-0, 9-0 West Coast) has won every game this season, with all but one by 10 points or more, though they’ve struggled to cover high spreads recently. In the Bulldogs last time out, they beat the Pacific Tigers 76-58 on the road Thursday night. Drew Timme scored a game-high 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the floor with five rebounds. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 2 in KenPom, with the second-ranked adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 7 defensive efficiency in Division I.

BYU (15-4, 6-2 West Coast) won their last two games including six of their last seven, so the Cougars have been playing well as of late. BYU is coming off a dominant 105-60 road win over the Portland Pilots on Thursday night, where eight players scored eight points or more led by Gideon George’s 19-point breakout performance. Alex Barcello leads the team with 15.2 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 0.9 steals per game.

There are going to be a ton of points scored, so let’s get after the over. These two teams played on January 7th and the total reached 155. Expect the offenses to be that successful again. BYU has reached at least 95 points in three of their last five games, and Gonzaga might have the best offense in the entire country. The Bulldogs are averaging 93.3 points per game, which is the highest total in college basketball.
