It’s been a rough year for the Georgetown Hoyas, but they got a nice win over the No. 19 Creighton Bluejays last Wednesday. Tonight they’ll look for the sweep in a Big East battle McDonough Arena on campus in Washington DC.
Creighton (14-5, 10-4 Big East) has won four of five, the only loss being the shocking 86-79 loss at home to Georgetown on February 3rd. The Bluejays are 10th in D-1 in eFG at 56.5. and make 36.9% of their three-point attempts. They start five upperclassmen, led by senior Denzel Mahoney’s 15.0 points per game. Junior Marcus Zegarowski is part of a three-guard offense that can drive it to the rim as well: Creighton makes 57.4% of their two-point attempts.
Georgetown (5-9, 3-6 Big East) might be turning it around with back-to-back wins before a quality loss at Villanova on Sunday. The Hoyas are still atrocious at forcing turnovers (340th in Division I), but Jahvon Blair and his teammates can shoot it. They make 35.5% of their three-point attempts, and are playing much better basketball than they were even two weeks ago.

Point Spread, Totals, Odds, Trends
Point spread: Creighton -7.5
Point Total: 150.5
Money line: Creighton -335, Georgetown +260
- Creighton are 1-6 ATS in their last seven, and Georgetown is 5-1 ATS in their last six.
- The over is 10-9 on Creighton games this year, and 7-7 for G’Town.
The Best Bet
It’s a totally different Georgetown team in February, and they can shoot it well enough at home to steal one. Their ability to matchup on a slower Creighton team stands out, and this is just matchup nightmare for the Bluejays. In fact we think GU gets out with a big win at home.
Pick: Georgetown +260
