Pick against the spread, best player prop for Warriors vs. Clippers on Thursday

We go over some of the best betting options for Thursday’s matchup between the Golden State Warriors and LA Clippers.

NBA: All Star Game-Team Lebron vs Team Durant Dale Zanine-USA TODAY Sports

The second half of the NBA season continues as the Los Angeles Clippers (4th, 24-14) play host to the Golden State Warriors (9th, 19-18) tonight, with both teams looking to snap a three-game losing skid. The Clippers lost their last three games by narrow margins to the Bucks, Celtics, and Wizards while the Warriors were taken down handily by the Lakers and Suns, but only lost by two to the Trail Blazers. MVP contender Stephen Curry had a good All-Star break, taking home the three-point contest trophy and adding 28 points in the game itself.

Warriors vs. Clippers, 10:00 p.m. ET, TNT

Pick ATS: Clippers -7

It’s no secret that the Clippers are the favorites heading into this game, as they’ve been significantly better since the return of Paul George and Kawhi Leonard just a few weeks ago, who have carried a big portion of the scoring themselves. However, even without one or both of their superstars, they’re still a relatively balanced team and can handle their own. The Warriors’ entire offensive game seems to fall on the shoulders of Stephen Curry. While he’s been in excellent form this season averaging 29.7 PPG overall and 32.1 PPG in February alone, he’s definitely had some “off” games where the Warriors entire offense has suffered. If he doesn’t perform well against the Clippers tonight, LA could easily run away with this one.

Player Prop: Paul George O3.5 three-pointers (-110)

George has hit five threes in each of his last two games, including the All-Star Game where he went 5-for-7. Throughout the month of February, he averaged 3.3 three-pointers per game with 47.3% made. This season so far, he’s hit 53.8% of his threes against the Warriors while averaging 23 PPG through both of their meetings back in January. Given Golden State’s vulnerable defense, George could easily come out and drop another five-plus from beyond the arc.
