In a stunner for so many, the No. 8 Georgetown Hoyas will face the No. 2 Creighton Bluejays for the Big East Championship in Madison Square Garden on Saturday night.

It would be the first championship in The World’s Most Famous Arena for Creighton, but it would mean a bid to the NCAA Tournament for Patrick Ewing and the Hoyas. Georgetown has pulled three straight upsets to get here, and is now just 40 minutes away from stealing a March Madness bid in the arena their head coach Patrick Ewing made famous.

Let’s take a look at all the action from the Big East Championship Game from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

No. 8 Georgetown vs. No. 2 Creighton, 6:30 p.m. FOX

Point Spread: Creighton -8
Point Total: 143.5

The Hoyas have to be thankful they got past Creighton got past UConn finally, as GU had lost to the Huskies twice during the regular season. These teams split a pair of matchups season, with the road team winning both games.

If you subtract the two losses to UConn, Georgetown has won seven in a row. Jahvon Blair and Jamorko Pickett are two seniors with no tomorrow in a loss, but it’s been a different hero each game for the Hoyas. They might not pull off the storybook ending, but eight is too many to give Cinderella in a building their head coach made famous.

The pick: Georgetown +8
